DJ CD MANN is one of the Industry’s premier DJ’s. Getting his start in September 1990 in Warren, Ohio playing at the Fiesta At The Waterworks using a home stereo and his collection of hundreds of CD’s, he soon was on his way to becoming a much sought after entertainer. Also playing his first Wedding Recpetion in September at The Old Firehouse Winery, in Geneva on the Lake.
Cutting his teeth DJing at local bars, upgrading his equipment and adding countless more music to his collection, he quickly became a popular fixture in the local entertainment scene, only to leave the bar scene and specialize in Weddings only from 1994-1998.
After being approached repeatedly to be the house DJ at an upstart club, he went to the club scene where he was playing to SRO crowds four nights a week for three years.
In 2000 he promoted a charity concert at the NASCAR Race at Rockingham, NC which included long time friend and musician Gary James Pirrung.
In 2001 he formed the band “Bad Hair Day” and wrote, sang, and recorded the song “Tim Couch” (listen to the song at bottom of this page) for the Cleveland Browns. The song received much regional airplay, but as Couch’s popularity and playing time decreased so did the songs airplay.
From 2002 to 2007 he was busy working in the Boardman, Warren, Youngstown, areas in addition to Paradise Bay in Roaming Shores, Ohio.
In 2006 he was hired as a fill in DJ for the VIP Ultimate Tailgate Party at the Jimmy Buffett Concert in Pittsburgh , PA. He did such a great job that he has been the DJ for the Concert since (2006-2009). He also he become the DJ/Emcee for the Polar Bear Plunge at Roaming Shores, OH (2007-2010), and the House DJ at The Ice Zone in Boardman, Ohio (2007-2010).
In 2009 he was nominated for "Best Of The Best DJ", by the Tribune Chronicle, Readers Choice Awards, March 2009. He also began branching out his talents to include providing sound and lighting for Wildcats Comedy Club. Making freinds and receiving compliments from many national Comedians including Jay London, Auggie Smith, Jimmy Shubert, and Mike Armstrong.
As one of the premier DJ’s around, he has also evolved into a prominent Emcee/ Master of Ceremonies and Wedding Specialist. His ability to feel a crowd and give them what they want, combined with crowd interaction, ensures the crowd will have a good time, and keep them wanting more.
His schedule has him traveling all over the Tri-state region, mostly the Cleveland, Youngstown, Pittsburgh, Lake Erie Islands areas, to play Weddings, special engagements, clubs, private parties, concerts, and corporate events.
